Steven Plumer, PLA, ASLA grew up loving the beauty of the outdoor environment, and his appreciation for the American landscape. A native of Overland Park, Kansas, he was fortunate to have art collecting parents, who taught Steven the values of original art and high quality signed reproductions.
Steven paints as a hobby and enjoys working in both watercolor and acrylic mediums and prefers unique landscapes as subjects in his paintings. He is known for his distinct painting style, his use of bright colors and composition of shapes and imagery. He has exhibited at several local and national art shows and festivals including the Turtle Creek Art Festival - Dallas, Texas, Arts in Bloom - McKinney, Texas, Allen Art Alliance - Allen, Texas, Pikes Peak Art & Music Festival - Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Rockbrook Village Art Show - Omaha, Nebraska.
Steven is a graduate of Kansas State University where he earned a Bachelor's of Landscape Architecture. He is a registered Landscape Architect with thirty-two years of experience in site planning, project management, landscape architecture and golf course design. Steven’s design experience ranges from commercial, single/multi-family development, park and open space development, playground design to golf course and landscape design.
Steven has provided design, project and construction management services on projects across Texas and throughout the southeastern United States exceeding $190 million dollars in construction cost. He currently works full time as a landscape architect for a local municipality as well as operating his design company in Arlington, Texas.
